The French Quarter

Anytime we have a visitor, the French Quarter is top of the list. We really don't take advantage of this part of town enough. Also known as the Vieux Carré, it is the oldest neighborhood in the city of New Orleans. Unique, colorful, and bursting at the seams with history. We just barely scratched the surface on our mini tour. A bit of shopping, walking along the Mississippi, a stroll through Jackson Square, a daiquiri, and a stop at the Monteleone. It was a perfect afternoon. We ended the day at a favorite John Besh Restaurant, Lüke. They have amazing St. Germain cocktails and 50 cent oysters during happy hour. A lovely day.
