Another Summer is drawing to a close... In reality, we have a few solid weeks of warm weather ahead before Albin's back in a full wetsuit, and I pack up the bathing suits. But there have been a couple late evenings and early mornings where I've sensed it. It's much more subtle here in San Diego. A tree is slowly giving in to Autumn, an evening breeze is just a little cooler, you can smell beach bonfires drifting up from the sand, the neighborhood pumpkins are turning a fiery orange on their vines. It's happening. As much as I love California Summer (and all of our splendid seasons), I am always ready for the transition. It'll be awhile before we're donning sweaters and scarves, but wheels of change are definitely in motion.
Today is Tuesday, after a delicious Labor Day weekend. Reality is here again. The kids have been up since 5, and I'm feeling like doing some Fall nesting around the house.
I'm comin' for ya September!
