We've been laying low for the last few days and I have to say it feels good to be home. This November weather has been the perfect blend of gray mornings, warm afternoon sun, and cool breezes. We've managed to squeeze in some outdoor time and it makes me so thankful to call California home. A mild winter is just right.
My intention as the holiday season kicks into high gear, is to be thankful, kind, helpful, and interested in the needs of others. I realize each day that my son is watching me very closely-- and behaving in the same way that I do. During this time of merriment and family lies the perfect opportunity to set an example. I will work on making memories with him, showing him what giving is about, and filling our house with fudge and holiday music. I want him to look back on his early childhood and think of his Mom in a positive way. So excited for these sweet years ahead with our little boy.
