The weather last weekend in San Diego was absolute perfection. It was the most pleasant reminder of why we pay a little extra to live here. Seventy eight and sunny with a perfect breeze. San Diego Bay was sparkling, people out sailing, tourists biking. Seriously, California LOVE!
We decided to spend a family day driving South for some eating, shopping and splashing in San Diego's Waterfront Park.
Thanks to the California drought, most splash pads in the region are closed for the time being. This downtown park is one of the few free places to splash in the city, besides the mighty Pacific of course.
It's refreshing, overlooks the bay, and wears out a toddler like nothing else. Highly recommend!
