Part of our morning routine is enjoying breakfast and a cup of coffee together. I've always been a hot chocolate kinda gal, but since becoming a Mama, I too have begun to enjoy some morning brews. I love the quiet part of the day when Albin is still home and we share a few laughs at the table. We have our little coffee station ready to go at all times! The season change has also prompted my nesting instinct. In preparation for increased time indoors, I'm doing lots of organizing and rearranging. I want to be comfortable in these winter months.
The weather here in San Diego has noticeably chilled in the last week or so... but it hasn't entirely stopped us from going to the beach-- just changed our wardrobe. Sweater weather! And now that school's back in session we have the beach mostly to ourselves. Joy Joy JOY!
And I just wanna give one quick mention to my beloved Trader Joe's. Believe me, having a long distance relationship with my favorite grocer while living in New Orleans was paaaainful. It's so nice to be buying my own TJ's treats this year.. and discovering all the great new things. So.. to all of you Trader Joe's virgins who are just now getting one.. this is what you need this week.
-Ghoulie Gummy Tummies- because, why not? I love that they are doing these with each holiday. I got hooked on those eggs last Easter.
-Pumpkin Body Butter- I posted about the coconut butter not long ago, and could not resist this stuff when I saw it. Thank goodness because now I am kind of obsessed. It's creamy, creamy- but not too oily. Perfect for end of Summer dry skin. Seriously, do your skin a favor and get this AND the coconut oil one. So good.
-Pumpkin Cream Cheese Spread- they put this out for a limited time only folks! Put it on their pumpkin bagels for a sinful overdose.. the Pumpkin Bread mix is incredible too. Just like homemade. Pumpkin everything over there right now.
-Ultra Moisturizing Hand Cream Trio- Ok, these! You know how there is always a debate about who supplies Trader Joe's with all their private label goodies? Well I SWEAR this stuff is L'Occitane. It is so high quality, and so cheap. What a great product.
All this TJ raving has me in the mood for some of their Peanut Butter Cups. Bye now.
