Although this was technically our second Halloween as a family,  I was still in the fog of brand new motherhood to really enjoy Halloween last year. So taking Bennett Trick-or-Treating for the first time this year was a special experience. We set sail in our custom boat and it was such a hit around the neighborhood. Bennett played the Captain part well, and he totally "got" it when it came to Trick or Treating. I even gave him a tiny KitKat bar at the end of the night! Loved it. We spent the rest of the night visiting with neighbors and finally watching Hocus Pocus. I almost got a little emotional at the end of the evening thinking how quickly all these "firsts" are going by. But I gathered myself together and decided to just be in the moment.

And now that we have Halloween out of the way, November has arrived. It's one of my favorite months. Possibly because Albin and I both have birthdays this month, and possibly because the biggest eating day of the year is this month. Either way, I am excited--- and thankful. Which brings me to my Thankful November series. Every Friday in November I am going to share something I am thankful for. Something that reminds me of how important it is to appreciate all we have. Are you sharing similar stories? I'd love to hear.

Happy November y'all!
