26 Weeks, and just over 90 days to go. I just can't believe it! We were out of the country when we hit weeks 25 and 26 and having the best time.
Traveling while pregnant does have it's own challenges, but it was so worth it. I'm so glad we were able to take a pre-baby trip overseas and spend some quality time together. It provided a much needed break and adventure.
I did get a little tired, and my feet were swollen at the end of each day, especially after the plane rides.. but it was worth it. I ate and ate. I can still taste those pizzas and gelatos.
Take me back. So here are a couple photos of where my belly is at.. large, huh?
As for the baby, he is growing fast. At 26 weeks, he is officially viable, meaning if he were born at this point he would have a chance of survival on the outside. Naturally, we are hoping he stays in there cooking a little longer. He's still only about 14 inches and less than 1.5 pounds. He will be a much bigger boy by the time he makes his debut.
We are still writing our birth plan, figuring out which birthing classes to take, and eek! looking for a name. We don't have anything yet. I'm officially out of the "I can paint my own toes phase." So I'll be treating myself to a pedicure this weekend, and maybe enlisting my husbands polishing skills from time to time.
But our stroller is assembled, the room is coming together, and we are soaking up the last bit of the pregnancy.
Next up, third trimester! I can see it around the corner.
